Rental Policy

The Textbook Rental Program allows students attending the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh the opportunity to rent selected textbooks for the duration of one term only. Interim terms are separate from Spring and Fall terms.

RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS

By renting a book with University Books & More (UB&M), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• It is my responsibility to return rental books to UB&M no later than end of business on the first Monday after the term ends. Failure to return books by the deadline will result in the following charge to my student account: Retail Purchase Price less rental fees already paid (per book).
• Book(s) rented to me are the property of UB&M and I accept responsibility to return the book(s) in resaleable condition. Moisture damage, tears, staining, or missing pages/covers may result in refusal of return. Management has discretion to charge a replacement fee if the book is not in resaleable condition.
• It is my responsibility to monitor my UWO email account for updates or information regarding my rental book(s). UB&M is not responsible for reminding me of my rental due date.
• Rental fees only refundable according to attached store refund policy, with receipt.
